Annual Monitoring Badges

Andersen recommends that monitoring of your EO steriliser is carried out annually or when it is moved (re-installed). Your regulatory body i.e., Practice Standards, may also require this.

Monitoring badges can be purchased from Andersen
The badge can be used for either a STEL (Short Term Exposure Limit) reading for 15 minutes or for a TWA (time Weighted Average) reading for 8 hours

The badge is then returned to us to send for analysis. Once this is received and levels are below (WEL) workplace exposures limits a certificate for successful EO monitoring will be emailed to you.
Care should be taken when the monitoring is taking place as the badges are susceptible to cross contamination, particularly alcohol-based products such as anti-bac

You will be reminded once a year to do the monitoring but if you would prefer for us to send a badge automatically every year, please email uk@anderseneurope.com to request this.
